Rebalance Gut Flora

Healthy Salad

After my Candida cleanse, to rebalance healthy gut flora, I upped my intake of fermented vegetables, and to help with that, I started making my own. I also practice an anti-inflammatory diet. From what I have read, the Mediterranean diet is an ideal diet for all things gut health. The ketogenic diet is also known as an anti-inflammatory diet. However, since personally experiencing nutritional deficiencies on keto, I now lean more toward a "low-carb" Mediterranean diet.

I use a prebiotic powder daily and take probiotics. When I eat meat, I take hydrochloric acid with pepsin, and I supplement with vital nutrients like B vitamins, omega-3s, 100 mcg selenium, 15 mg zinc, vitamin D, 400 mg magnesium glycinate, 12.5 mg iodine, and vitamin C.

When healing my leaky gut, I drank homemade bone broth made from the bones of grass-fed cows and pasture-raised chickens. Click here to read about the benefits of bone broth.

I also made Gc protein-derived macrophage activating factor yogurt (Gc-MAF) (1). Click here to read Promising Role for Gc-MAF in Cancer Immunotherapy: From Bench to Bedside. Gc-MAF is formulated to contain over 42 different varieties of probiotics with the additional benefits of Bovine Colostrum. Store-bought yogurt only includes one or two different bacteria, and while commercially bought yogurt will help with some health issues, it will not give you the boost like Gc-MAF yogurt.
