WHAT IS THE INNER CHILD?
The inner child reflects the child we once were in both negative and positive aspects. Both unmet needs and suppressed childhood emotions, as well as our childlike innocence, creativity, and joy, are still within us. Since early life trauma has been scientifically proven to interfere with the rhythm of the nervous system, we use non-dominant handwriting to help us become aware of our emotions. Naming emotions helps build one's capacity to be with them instead of going into survival mode.
